Susan

Susan graduated Dalhousie University in Halifax with her bachelor degree in science of pharmacy. Susan has experience in both retail and hospital pharmacies. She has raised 2 boys, and enjoys playing tennis and gardening with her husband of 13 years.

      Curt

      Curt has come to the Pharmacy world after 40 years of being a top Canadian Standardbred Horse Trainer and Driver. He enjoys seeing all of our patients out in the community and ensuring that you always see a smiling face and a receive a prompt delivery. He is lifelong Chicago Blackhawks fan and has a two sons and a daughter, as well as two grandsons.

              Shelagh

              Shelagh graduated McMaster University with a degree in labour studies, and has taken courses at Mohawk College for accounting. Shelagh has a 2 year old son and is currently expecting her second child with her husband of 7 years.

                  Katie

                  Katie has been working in customer service for over 15 years and is the first smiling face you see when you enter our infusion centre. She has 3 boys, and a loving husband of 20 years. Her eldest son is currently attending Fordham University in New York City on a football scholarship. She enjoys reading in her spare time.

                      Jessica F

                      Jessica graduated from McMaster University with honours majoring in History and English. Jessica has been working at our clinic for over 10 years and is always willing to go above and beyond to help patients in every aspect of their treatment. She is an avid hockey fan and loves the Boston Bruins. When she isn’t watching a hockey game, Jessica likes to take her dogs Penny and Lucy for walks.

                          Carolyn

                          Carolyn Whiskin, BSc. Phm, graduated from the faculty of pharmacy at the University of Toronto in 1986. Carolyn specializes in arthritis, pain, and counseling and smoking cessation. She is a Certified Menopause Practitioner with the North American Menopause Society and a member of the Model of Care Committee for the Ontario Rheumatology Association.

                          In addition to her busy practice, Carolyn helped to write the first year communications course for pharmacy students at University of Toronto, and has lectured at U of T, University of Waterloo, and McMaster University. She has worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital as the rheumatology pharmacist and at Mc Master University Medical Centre in Hamilton writing continuing education programs for pharmacists. She initiated the Pharmacist/Physician Collaboration Committee in Burlington and is a member of their Diabetes Collaborative Working Group.

                          As a motivational speaker, Carolyn gives lectures and workshops across Canada to physicians, pharmacists, nurses, family health teams and the public on various therapeutic topics and areas of personal growth. She has been a guest on radio and television.

                          Carolyn has won many awards including the national “Commitment to Care Award” in the area of patient care (2005).

                              Pat

                              Pat has been a nurse for 39 years and has many years of biologic and specialty medication experience. Her personal interests are skiing, biking, swimming and especially spending time with Lucy, her beautiful Pug. Pat also spends time in Africa and South America working with medical teams taking care of the marginalized in our world.

                                  Mary Lee

                                  Mary Lee graduated from McMaster University with a bachelor degree in nursing and science and has been a part of our team for 5 years. She has 4 kids and a loving husband of 22 years. She is very active and enjoys listening to country music and reading romance novels.

                                      Debbie

                                      Debbie graduated from Mohawk College as a Registered Nurse. She started her career at the Hamilton General Hospital and has been working in Rheumatology for 25 years. She enjoys reading, and travelling with her husband two sons.
